STEP ONE: The first step in volunteering is to complete a confidential volunteer application required by MISD. Volunteers will not be permitted without first completing this step. Be advised, this could take between two days to two weeks to complete. You will receive an email once you're approved, and you are welcome to volunteer any time throughout the school year following that. Please note, this must be completed annually.

STEP TWO: Please fill out the form below to tell us what areas you are interested in helping. This form allows us to pair you with opportunities that interest you most. This is simply an interest inventory and not a commitment to any service. Based on your selections, you will receive email invitations to volunteer throughout the year. Office Assistance
Help with general clerical projects, assist with translating, or similar
Lunch Duty
Let's give our teachers a break from lunch duty and cover it for them. We especially do this for teacher birthdays.
Copy Room
Make copies for teachers, laminate or cut out laminated projects
Don't know how to copy or laminate? We'll teach you!
Mystery Reader
Be a surprise reading guest for Kindergarten through 2nd grades classrooms. Trust us - they'll LOVE you!
Class Parties
Help with decorations, help prepare, assist during the party
Library
Come meet our new Librarian, Mrs. Ross! She would love your help with our book fair. You can set up, break down, be the cashier, help our students choose books, and so much more!
Hospitality
If you love to love our teachers, this one is for you! We need help throughout the year with providing snacks/lunches/treats to our teachers and organizing that. Sign up for this and we'll let you know when those opportunities come up.
